Matt Martinez always wanted to write. Practicality took over in college and he studied engineering, then business. In college, he wrote reports, research papers, and emails. Practical writing. The #stigma profile picture refers to the stigma of mental health and substance abuse. Though his writing, Matt hopes to combat this stigma.
He started writing again this year by journaling. When he found a two-year-old short story, he thought there might be something to it. It was the first story in An Intimate Crisis. When he was done, Matt had several stories. He self-published 5 of those on Amazon.
Fiction has been a great escape for Matt. After a long day at work, he loves to come home and get lost in the characters he creates. Recently, he's been writing science fiction. He utilizes his technical background to think about what might happen in the future. The short story, Saber, Time Operative, is an example of that. He studied Special Relativity in college, which included some principles of time travel. Matt tried to include a couple of these concepts in that story.
Matt hopes to continue writing sci-fi. It's fun for him. He hopes you will have fun reading his work.
