Iyanu Adelekan

Iyanu is a passionate problem solver and software engineer who believes strongly in the power of collaboration and team work. Born and raised in Nigeria, he discovered he had a love for programming and problem solving at an early age. His desire to understand and create solutions to complex problems - particularly in computing - led him to pursue a bachelors degree in Computer Science within the four walls of Nigeria's most prestigious university, the University of Ibadan.

Upon securing his BSc. in Computer Science, Iyanu went head first into the world of software engineering. He has acquired years of experience in mobile and web application development as well as systems analysis and design. In addition, he has a profound interest in distributed systems, computer networks, information theory, operating systems and compiler design.

Iyanu loves programming - particularly with Kotlin. As a consequence, he authored "Kotlin Programming By Example", a book that guides readers of all backgrounds to reach proficiency in programming with Kotlin and empowers them to build real world Android and web applications.

When not reading or writing code, Iyanu can be found playing chess and helping people reach their full potential in the domain of problem solving.
