Cheryl DeVleeschouwer is a long-time fan of writing, literature and stories. In her new role as Grandma, Cheryl loves coming up with stories for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Cheryl's first children's book, Elfie the Elf, was published in 2018. Originally written in 1990, Cheryl drafted Elfie the Elf for a graduate class. Her own children loved the book so much that she often read it to them. Now almost 30 years later, Elfie the Elf has been officially published and illustrated so that families across the world can enjoy the holiday spirit and magic of Elfie.
Cheryl’s second book, Don’t Lose Your Head, was inspired by her grandson, Parker. This imaginative story, published in March 2019, takes Parker on a journey where he learns what it is like to be in the shoes of his favorite animals. Living in the jungle, swimming with the sharks or rolling in the mud. What will he decide? Join Parker in this exciting adventure of self-discovery.
Cheryl lives in Long Valley, NJ, with her husband, Rick, her two cats, Bailey and Macy, and her dog Charlie.
