Robert Maschmann
Robert Ludwig Maschmann holds a degree in sociology and was born on 16 February 1962 in Mallersdorf in the district of Straubing/Bogen. He grew up in Geiselhöring, also in the district of Straubing/Bogen.
He passed his Abitur in 1981 at the Ludwigsgymnasium in Straubing.
He then studied sociology and philosophy at the University of Regensburg from 1982 to 1988.
Robert Maschmann lives in Regensburg and works there as a lecturer, writer and author of philosophical books.
His main philosophical interests are Arthur Schopenhauer, Friedrich Nietzsche and E.M. Cioran.
He has also been intensively involved in Far Eastern philosophy, especially Zen Buddhism.
His literary interests are mainly Samuel Beckett and Franz Kafka.
