James Ward

I write under the alter ego, James Ward. My real name is Trevor James Ward and I was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1954. I have always had an affinity with the written word and having fun with words. Like when at work some will quote; "but historically....." I then say you mean 'hysterically' and they'll say "yeah that too". My work background is in Banking & Finance and Financial Analysis in the Government Service.

As I got into senior ranks, I held positions that required large submissions and complex reports written and always found it easy to put across ideas and concepts in simple forms, without the padding. On the other extreme, providing one-pager reports for Executive Management where only the facts required. Similar situations in my University studies.

As I have gotten older I developed a strong interest in Metaphysics and Alternative Sciences and have published articles in an Aust/NZ esoteric magazine called New Dawn and Uncensored News. Those articles can be read freely on my website: https://jameswardpublishing.com/published-articles/.

Therefore with the above background, it was a natural progression to write a science fiction novel and hence Zero to Hero is my 'firstborn' effort.
