M.L Rose

ML Rose is the pen name of an Amazon best selling author. ML lives in London with his family, but has also lived in Yorkshire.

ML Rose is the author of the critically acclaimed Detective Arla Baker series. A dark, compelling crime story, the Arla Baker series spans 15 books, and counting.

He is also the author of the Detective Nikki Gill Series, based in Oxford. Published by Storm, the Nikki Gill series follows the same dark, thrilling twists as the Arla Baker series.

The Catherine Frost series started in July 2025. This riveting storyline follows a woman who will do anything to protect her family, and is based in the rugged mountainous region of Dumfries and Galloway in southern Scotland.

Turning his attention to historical crime fiction, ML Rose has also started a murder mystery set in the time of the British Raj in India. This atmospheric crime series, rich in historical detail, follows the gripping investigations of Inspector BK Roy in Calcutta, just before the 2nd World War. The first book, Whispers Of The Dead, is out on pre-order for September 2026.
