Mr Chris Stewart

Chris Stewart was born and raised in Portland Or. At 15 years old after an argument with his father Chris decided it was best if he moved out on his own. Chris left home and then moved to Hollywood CA at 15 where he quickly got swallowed up into punk rock music, gangs, drugs(dealing and taking) and then he spent the next 20 years chasing his dreams from a wanna be rock star to a home owner and husband in the Santa Monica CA area. When Chris could have stopped taking drugs he didn't want to and when he wanted to he found out he couldn't and then he lost it all and ended up addicted to heroin and crack cocaine living in the bushes off of Hollywood Blvd the same place he started at 15 years old. Chris then turned his life around and now speaks all over the world encouraging better mentorship programs and leadership for todays youth. Besides being a motivational speaker Chris is also a drug and alcohol counselor in the San Diego area where he lives. Prayers, Punk Rock and Pastry is his 1st book and an inspirational story of what true life addiction looks like and how to overcome it and get your dreams back. Chris's follow up book Gift's from God I didn't deserve is the perfectly timed coming of age story and the angels that were sent to guide and propel him into the role he has now as a worldwide leader in HOPE and youth advocacy.
