Blake Hull

Hi, I'm Blake. I'm not really sure what else you need to know about me other than the material I like to write and what inspires me, so...

Humor is a large part of my content. I don't solely focus on it, but it's heavily featured in everything I write, especially dialogue. I believe I used to take myself way too seriously in my writing. To be clear, I don't anymore... Seriously, I don't take my writing seriously. It shows in a good way. (In my humble opinion.)

I love just about everything horror related. Literature, movies, TV, etc. Going forward, I think the bulk of my work will be horror themed. I've branched out to other genres in the past. I might do so in the future.

I am absolutely obsessed with the paranormal, cryptids, aliens, and spooky things in general. I don't believe they exist, but conceptually I think they're rad. I like to compare my belief system to Mulder's poster from the X-files - "I WANT TO BELIEVE". I think living in a world where people can't or don't believe in this stuff would be awfully dull. If any paranormal, UFO, or cryptozoologist investigators are reading this, HMU. I'd genuinely love to tag along in your pursuit of the truth!

Slashers, true crime stories, and nonfiction-based horrors are great... but they're not my favorites. Most of them lack the mysticism I enjoy from the spooky things I mentioned in the paragraph above.

I work a day job to keep a roof over my head and food in my mouth, so written content and art comes out slowly. Very slowly. Apologies to the few that know of and enjoy my content. On that note, I find marketing to be a challenge. I can't quite get the hang of it.

It would be nice to quit the day job I mentioned above and write full-time. Realistically, however, I simply don't see that happening. Personally, I label writing as a hobby.

Anywho, if you enjoy my books, be sure to tell literally everyone you know so that they can enjoy them too! (And so that I can write all the time!)

Thanks for reading! <3
