C. M. Alvarez

Carla Alvarez (publishing as C.M. Alvarez) is a cultural apologist, writer, and editor with a Master of Arts in Cultural Apologetics from Houston Baptist University. She is the founder of Raised to Walk, a ministry blog launched in 2013 that explores faith, Scripture, and cultural engagement.

A co-founder and former contributing editor of An Unexpected Journal, a quarterly publication examining Christian worldview through cultural apologetics, Carla spent six years developing editorial expertise and helping writers craft substantive content for the church.
