Cris Jackman

At 72 years young, I stand as a testament to a life rich in experience and resilience. As a dedicated peer support specialist, I have the privilege of working alongside psychologically challenged adults, a journey that is not just professional but also deeply personal. My own experiences with bipolar disorder, CPTSD, anxiety, and ADD have not only shaped my understanding but also fueled my passion to support others.

My world is one of vibrant creativity. As a mandala artist, mixed media artist, and jewelry designer, I channel my experiences into art, finding both solace and joy in the act of creation. Crafting, in its many forms, has become a language through which I express the myriad facets of my journey.

Family is the cornerstone of my life. Being a parent to two wonderful children, a grandparent to ten, and a great-grandparent to twenty, I am surrounded by a tapestry of love and laughter that continually enriches my days. My home, shared with two loyal dogs and a charismatic cat, is nestled in the serene beauty of the Mojave Desert near Joshua Tree National Park – a daily reminder of nature’s quiet strength.

My academic background in mass media communications and a lifelong study in mental health, nutrition, and self-improvement, reflect my unquenchable thirst for knowledge and growth. Each day is an opportunity to learn, to improve, and to share the wisdom gained from a life lived fully.

Welcome to my world, a blend of challenge, creativity, and the enduring power of human connection.
