Dana Manalang is on a mission to present science and engineering concepts in a way that is accessible to young readers and generates excitement about scientific exploration using robotic platforms. Manalang has been working with underwater systems as an engineer in the Seattle area for over a decade, though her love of the sea goes back as far as she can remember. A mother of two, she enjoys sharing her enthusiasm for all things aquatic and robotic with her kids and anyone else who will listen.
