Robert was born in the industrial midlands of England in 1949. As a young man, he qualified as a work-study engineer, later qualifying as a computer systems analyst. Eventually, together with his wife, he owned and managed a care home for the elderly, before moving to the island of Nevis in the West Indies in 1995.
Robert is a director of a wellness healing centre, together with his daughter, who is a chiropractic doctor and CEO of the wellness centre in Nevis & St. Kitts. At present, Robert cares for his wife, who was assistant director of nursing and head of midwifery at their local hospital in England, who now is in the later stages of dementia.
As a child, Robert was introduced to the Christian beliefs in a Baptist church. However, it is only because of his studying the bible with Seventh-day-Adventists that he gained enough knowledge to be able to decode the Judeo-Christian Bible.
In some aspects of belief, Robert differs with the SDA, particularly regarding the sanctuary as outlined by Ellen White and a specific day of the week for Sabbath. However, Robert agrees with her concept that Christ is the tree of life. Robert believes that the SDA teaching regarding the book of Daniel and many other teachings such as the state of the dead cannot be faulted.
This book is an analysis that provides a modern look at the teachings of the Bible and was written only because of the vision Robert received, in the year 2002. The spirit of God came to him to open the Book closed by Daniel (Daniel 12:4) because this is the seventh millennium, the completion of time of the plan of restoration.
