Nick Johns

Mr. Johns was born and raised in New Jersey. A childhood fueled mostly by cartoons and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, he gained the appreciation for all things fantastic.

He loves fiction stories, mostly in the mystery, science fiction, and horror realm. Strong characters to fall in love and go on a journey with. The bad and good guys that make up the pulse of a tale. Reading and writing makes for a stronger mind and discussing that with others is a joy in and of itself!

Mr. Johns incorporated all of his admirations in storytelling such as Guillermo del Toro and Elmore Leonard into his survival tale of The Darkest Winter.

The Darkest Winter is Mr. Johns’ first novel. He currently calls North Jersey his home.
