Herbert Arp

"There is only one thing better than cheese: melted cheese."

Herbert Arp is a word sommelier with a love of detail and a passionate cheese connoisseur. The Duden is his holy writ, the cheese counter his altar. He once learned something about computers and is now a state-approved social worker.

He was born in 1972 in tranquil Hanover, but has broken the chains of provincialism and now lives in cosmopolitan Hamburg. After his wife and son with special needs, he loves the roaring sea, connecting bridges, immersive role-playing and addictive PC games. Preferably all at once.

Sometimes he also writes entertaining stories and for that he gets inspired by all the craziness in the world, which he then garnishes with his whimsical ideas. He published his fiction debut in 2018 with his short story STUMMES VERMÄCHTNIS in the anthology TSCHÜSSCHEN, TSCHÜSSCHEN.

In the meantime, he has joined the STRANGE TALES CLUB as a regular author and is the voice there for trailers and audio quickies.
