Praise for The Grace Writers:

Grief is a hard word to describe, but The Grace Writers take hard topics such as grief, loss, death, divorce, unforgiveness, and more. Within the pages of this beautiful novel, we see perspectives from various angles. Within the pages of this beautiful novel, we see characters that each of us can relate to. Within the pages of this beautiful novel, Jesus Christ is magnified from the beginning until the very last page.

Heather Morse Alexander has created a beauty tapestry that weaves the truth of the Gospel throughout various lives. Her stories connect the reader to characters that make us laugh and cry. We see the unbeliever, the backslider, the faithful, and the legalistic. We see the bitterness, jealousy, envy, and idolatry we all fall into. We see the forgiveness, grace, and mercy that are constantly accessible to us through our God. - Kay

Grief, loss, forgiveness, and a supportive writing community offer hope and second chances for broken members. A poignant and inspiring women's fiction tale! - Literary Redhead

What I appreciate about this book is it doesn’t focus on preaching or religious doctrine, its focus is on female friendships, the art and therapeutic power of writing and literature, and the love and faith that is re-ignited through giving and supporting one other through storytelling. This book is one of those necessary ones to read as a reminder that there are genuinely good, healthy friendships in the world and to never lose hope. The grief and pain we experience in life can never be erased, but it can be eased and alleviated by the friendships and community with which we surround ourselves. One of the most beautiful aspects about this book is its illustration of the true power of writing to form healthy communities and to spark healing and re-building of our own selves. - Chapters & Chives

This story was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The Grace Writers captured my heart in the sweetest way. I loved everything about it — the small-town setting, the meaningful friendships, and especially the incredible characters. Claire and Will completely won me over. Watching their growth, their courage, and the way they both learned to open their hearts again was so touching. It felt like I truly knew them. - Allison
