Lene Arnett Jensen

Lene Arnett Jensen was born in Denmark, and has also resided in Belgium, India, and France. She now lives in Massachusetts, USA where she is a Senior Research Scientist at Clark University. Dr. Jensen is the originator of the "cultural-developmental approach" to psychology, which looks at development in terms of both what all humans have in common and what makes us culturally distinctive. After teaching college students for many years, she now enjoys authoring college textbooks focused on child, adolescent, and lifespan development (in print and interactive digital format).
