Daniel McCormick

Born some time ago in central Scotland, educated there after a most desultory fashion, passing on to teach in Sudan, Libya and Egypt, eventually washing ashore in Northern Greece, whence descending on Crete; lived in Heraklion for many years, which remains, despite nearly a decade away, pretty much home; left Greece and Crete definitively to my much regret about the time the financial crisis exploded--there was no connection.
