About the Author Jonathan Arnowitz-Taylor
Jonathan Arnowitz is a novelist whose fiction explores LGBTQ coming-of-age narratives, including Rights of Passage and Redemption of the Damned. His creative works examine the psychological and social complexities of identity formation, drawing on his extensive experience serving the LGBTQ community as an organizational leader, political advocate, and sex educator.
Complementing his creative writing, Arnowitz has authored influential technical books including Effective Prototyping for Software Makers (Morgan-Kaufman Elsevier). He has contributed over 50 articles to Interactions magazine, where he also served as Co-Editor-in-Chief from 2001-2004.
With over 20 years in User Experience Design leadership, Arnowitz has guided design teams at Google, IBM, Cisco, VMware, and Nokia. He currently serves as Principal Consultant at Keen in the Netherlands, specializing in innovative design processes.
Throughout his career, Arnowitz has been a prominent voice in the UX community, co-founding the Designing for User Experiences (DUX) conference series and serving on the ACM/SIGCHI Executive Committee.
