Catherine Campbell

Catherine Campbell is a debut children’s author.

Originally from New Zealand she now lives in Cambridgeshire in the United Kingdom with her husband, son and a tortoiseshell cat called Lizzy.

She used to prance around on stage making up silly stories as an improv comedienne. Now she writes silly stories instead, which is just as fun – and she doesn’t even need to leave the house!

She has previously worked in theatre and television and has made a living in various exciting and slightly dubious ways including writing television commercial scripts and producing and directing shopping telly and online videos.

She’s a proud mamma and children’s author. Blogging about becoming a new mum while completing and publishing her first book.

Her favourite things are cats, books, tea parties and taking afternoon naps with her young son.

Catherine's debut book Harry's Midnight Adventure is a finalist in the 2018 Wishing Shelf Book Awards.
