I have always been fascinated by how the human body and mind works and how to restore what I later learned was a unified bodymind to its natural state of dynamic health. As a practicing chiropractor since 1972, I have read many thousands of books, articles and research studies on how the bodymind works, becoming proficient in over thirty-five different healing modalities along the way.
All throughout this journey, I have searched for a user manual for the human body. When I started studying "the Five Elements" (of wood, fire, earth, metal and water), the theoretical basis of classical Chinese acupuncture, it was like coming home. This ancient, yet modern system is the most accurate diagnostic system in the world.
I found that by combining medical physiology with the five elements and applied kinesiology (the science that explains which muscles make the electrical energy each of our organ systems use), our bodymind became so much easier to understand.
I began to see that there are seven habits that wake us up from the spell of past/future time. With these understandings, I learned how to bring our bodymind into harmony and achieve peace of mind.
