Give Us the Fire! by MJ Wise (pen name) is not a children’s book; it is a sci/fi allegory written for adults. Wise is an adult educator who teaches courses in English, Writing, Speech Communication and Drama in inner-city colleges. Wise is working on his second novel, a sequel to Give Us the Fire! He also has written over 40 stage plays and is active in the Xavier Company, a professional touring liturgical drama company.
