Doug McAllister

Pastor turned politician and businessman, Doug McAllister's range of experience on the front lines of spiritual warfare is well documented. It is this experience in the trenches of walking out faith in exceptionally dark places that fueled Doug's passion to matter to Jesus' mission. He believes that each of us has been set free and empowered by God to do His good wherever He has placed us, Based on the truth of God's Word, Doug does not accept that we have to let the darkness take over our marriages, our families, our country or any other gate of influence in which God has placed us.

Doug is a preacher's kid that followed in his dad's footsteps, pastoring churches in several U.S. States as well internationally. But, unfortunately not immune to poor choices, he eventually found himself in the Prodigal's Pigpen. It was God that brought him 'back to himself,' using even these failures in his Post-Prodigal-Pastor life and ministry. Subsequently, Doug went on to be a success in business and politics, including being credited with pulling the leadership of entire city of over 100,000 citizens out of the darkness of the enemy's dominion. Doug's conviction: If this can happen in a city, and then a region, what could happen if the word got out to God's people all over this nation?! It is his intention to find out. Believing we may have only one more shot at accomplishing God's mission on earth before the Lord returns, Doug hopes to inspire the kind of conduct in our individual gates of influence that will one day result in hearing, "Well done!"

Matter to the Mission: The Gatekeeper's Cause is the first in a planned series of studies supporting the movement of Gatekeepers world-wide. It is an unashamedly bold call for the church to "come alive."

His new book, Called to Collide, was written as he watched the youth of our nation come alive. He hopes to ignite that same fire among the more chronologically challenged Christians among us. His goal is to support a multi-generational approach to take back every bit of the ground we have ceded to the enemy over the last several decades.

Doug lives with the love of his life, Miriam, in Murrieta, California. They have been married for over 30 years. He is also a dad(dy) and grandpa, loving every aspect of both. He is available for speaking engagements in whatever venue that is interested in demolishing Hell's gates and taking this world back for God.
