Chris came to China in the 1990's to stay 2 years, 20 years later he is still there, now a leading China expert. Having had a front row seat at one of the biggest economic transformations of our time in China, he has unique views and access in the Middle Kingdom.
Chris now is the Chairman of nHack Ventures, a venture capital firm that focuses on the Sino-Nordic corridor, spending his time between China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.
Chris has been an entrepreneur and investor his whole career, with various results. Some investments have failed miserably, while others have prospered. Chris has had major disappointments in China, but also been able to make it work. It is the contrast between success and failure, and the many "war stories" that Chris has from Asia that makes him a unique commentator or speaker on Asia and China.

A graduate from ESSEC (Siviløkonom), Paris, and with an MBA in Finance from University of Chicago (Booth), Chris also teaches on AI, Technology and Chinese macroeconomics.
