Christine E. Forth

I was born in 1946 in London, England. After sojourns of several years in various Southeast Asian countries, in 1986 I moved to Canada with my husband and two sons. I hold three university degrees, in Philosophy, Anthropology, and Social Work, subjects I have found to be an admirable preparation for both creative writing and life. In 2006, I retired from a rewarding career in government social policy research, and now happily pursue the ambition I have had since childhood: to be a writer. I now live in Edmonton, Canada with my husband and a cat.

I write short stories, essays, flash fiction, and have published my first novel, The Mapmaker's Wife. A second novel, entitled The White Garden, is currently in the works.
