Rachel Plotnick

Rachel Plotnick is an Associate Professor of Cinema & Media Studies in The Media School at Indiana University. She is the author of two books, Power Button: A History of Pleasure, Panic, and the Politics of Pushing, and License to Spill: Where Dry Devices Meet Liquid Lives, both with The MIT Press. Her work has been featured in outlets including the Wall Street Journal, NPR, The BBC, and IEEE Spectrum.
