Michael Gantt

Michael Gantt preached his first sermon at age 15 and knew then that God had called him to preach. At age 71, he is still preaching. After pastoring in the same community for just about 50 years, he recently turned the leadership of his church over to his eldest son, Bryan who was born the year he and his wife of fifty years, Barbara moved into southern Vermont.

Now, in addition to continuing to serve with his son, Michael spends much of his time traveling with the goal of "strengthening the iron of the church." He is a well-known conference speaker and author. Michael didn't start writing books until he was almost 70, but in just two short years has written five books and continues to maintain a blog site at www.mkgantt.com.

Michael Gantt is passionate about the church, about the Word of God, and about the Great Commission. He has dedicated his entire life to caring for the sheep of God's pasture and plans to do so until Jesus comes.
