Frank Coffman

Frank Coffman is a retired professor of college English, Creative Writing, and Journalism. He has published speculative poetry and fiction in a variety of journals, magazines, collections, and anthologies. His first collection (over 260 poems), THE COVEN'S HORNBOOK & OTHER POEMS (2019) has been followed by his rendition into English verse of 327 quatrains of KHAYYÁM'S RUBÁIYÁT (2019). He added a second collection, BLACK FLAMES & GLEAMING SHADOWS (2020), and a third, ECLIPSE OF THE MOON (2021). He collaborated with friend, fellow formalist poet, and "partner in rhyme," Steven Withrow on THE EXORCISED LYRIC (2021.

2022 will se the publication of THREE AGAINST THE DARK: COLLECTED DR. VENN OCCULT DETECTIVE MYSTERIES and MAXIME MIRIS: 12 TALES OF HORROR, THE WEIRD, & THE SUPERNATURAL.

His scholarly publication of late has been on the work of Robert E. Howard, and he selected, edited, introduced, and did commentary for his ROBERT E. HOWARD: SELECTED POEMS.
