Gwyn Goodrow

Gwyn Goodrow writes stories rooted in place, people, and the quiet moments that make life meaningful. She is inspired by the individuals who give destinations their soul, whether that’s a local artisan, a keeper of traditions, or a small-town storyteller with a big heart.

Her love of creativity, travel, and handmade traditions eventually inspired the creation of Crochet Getaway, where she shares stories centered around crochet, mindful living, and creative encouragement. At home, Gwyn turns her creative lens inward, writing about handmade crafts, personal essays, and the comfort found in simple, creative rituals.

Her work explores themes of renewal, resilience, and the beauty of slowing down, all threaded with warmth, curiosity, and hope.

Gwyn lives in Mississippi with her husband and their much-loved rescue cats: Star, Willow, and Pixie. From yarn baskets to back roads, she believes the best stories are found where creativity and everyday life meet.
