Hope Ewing is a writer, entrepreneur, and self-proclaimed service industry "lifer" originally from Western New York. After a decade raising funds for NYC arts organizations, she received an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, and moved to Los Angeles where she finally became serious about bartending. Through working in bars, she developed an academic passion for craft cocktails and began writing about the intersections of alcohol production, history, culinary intoxication and culture. She lives in Los Angeles and develops from-scratch canned cocktails for Vervet, a company she co-founded with a few former bar regulars.
