Bari's inspiration for "O" is for Okinawa came during her time living and working in Okinawa, Japan from 2015-2018. The Okinawan culture had such a profound impact on her, that she wanted to find a way to show appreciation for the lifestyle, and give young kids a fun way to learn their ABC's, and learn about another culture.
Bari is a mother of two, military spouse, and Air Force Reserve public affairs officer. She is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in Communication, has a Master's of Education from Ashford University, and also holds a TESOL certification.
Bari lives wherever the Marine Corps decides to send her family but looks forward to putting down roots in San Diego, California one day.
