Yolanda Key is the author of Life After Physical Slavery, The Lost Souls on the Train: We Are Finally Free, Weak Flesh, and the children's book My Name Is Ma'Niyah.
Born in Colquitt and raised in Donalsonville, Georgia, Yolanda is co-owner of KEY TRUCKING LLC alongside her husband, Kelvin Wilson. For nearly 17 years she has driven big trucks across America's highways, and somewhere between the miles, she became a storyteller. Her passion is writing her way to freedom from the open road.
Yolanda writes about pain, healing, and the strength it takes to keep going. She hosts the Mental Beauty podcast, sharing essays and affirmations about real life and resilience. Her dream is to become a paid public speaker and open her very own health spa.
Her new children's book, Am I Running 2 Pain or Am I Running From Pain, was inspired by her grandson Aiden — and by every child learning that being seen matters more than running away.
