Michelle DeVrieze

Michelle DeVrieze is an award-winning marketer turned independent author and publisher. Her first children's book, Cranky Franky and the Spelling Scheme, debuted in 2018. The inspiration for the Cranky Franky character came from a real-life uncle, also named Franky, who loved to push people's buttons. Her husband could go on for days recalling the things Uncle Franky did to irritate family, friends, and even strangers. And her Franky is just as aggravating. After all, he has a reputation to uphold.

Michelle is a nutrition fanatic and gym rat who's addicted to ribeye steaks. When she's not at the gym, you can find her typing her next book or jumping down an Internet rabbit hole researching topics for her PhD project.
