Joe Rap

Joe Rap is an LGBTQ+ poet and illustrator who works and lives in West Hollywood, California. He has published more than 300 pieces of poetry, prose, and released 75 illustrations currently in print. His first book "The Map to Metamorphosis" was published in 2019, and his second collection "at the end of the retrograde" published in 2024.

His unique writing style marries the world of popular and academic. He believes in reviving poetry for the digital age.

Joe enjoys all types of things curious, unusual, and extraordinary. He believes that the journey of self-discovery begins on the road less traveled. On any given day, you can likely find him listening to folk music, asking his waitress too many questions, and playing guitar.
