Sam Slaughter is the Food & Drink Editor for the men's lifestyle magazine The Manual. His spirits writing has appeared in Maxim, Bloomberg, and more. He is the author of two collections of short fiction and Are You Afraid of the Dark Rum? is his first cocktail book. He was born and raised in New Jersey, but calls Greenville, South Carolina home.
