Cathy Alves Davis is the CEO of MYRCLES. She is an author, inspirational speaker and part-time life coach.
Cathy grew up in Duxbury, Massachusetts. She attended Bridgewater University in her home state of Massachusetts. She married her high school sweetheart, George. Together they traveled the world as George served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. They finally settled in Montclair, Virginia and raised their family. Later this year they will celebrate their fifty-third wedding anniversary. They have three children and five grandchildren.
In 1998, Cathy faced a life-threatening, stage III, aggressive breast cancer. At the time of her diagnosis, she was offered little hope of surviving, but Cathy had an unwavering faith in God. She volunteered to be part of a rigorous and cutting-edge research protocol at Lombardi Cancer Research Center at Georgetown University Hospital. The research results were nothing less than miraculous!! The findings proved to be a great advancement in the fight against aggressive breast cancer. The specialized protocol is now standard treatment, saving tens of thousands of women’s lives to date.
For more than two decades now, Cathy has counseled, encouraged, and given hope to women everywhere. Cathy has appeared on QVC, “Nightline,” and the ABC and NBC news. Cathy also wrote a feature story for Breast Cancer Wellness Magazine titled “Stay In The Day.” And Cathy was featured in an article in PWC Living Magazine called “Finding Strength and Inspiration in ‘Myrcles,’” written by Emma Young.
Cathy’s testimony to the power of faith, along with excellent medical care, is revealed in Myrcles. Myrcles, spelled MYRCLES—or my miracles or your miracles—receives consistent five-star reviews!
