Jerry Brooks

Jerry Brooks is a graduate of Boston College. He is a founding member of Red Rock Rewriters, a writers’ group, meeting at the Swampscott Public Library since 2006. Living near Boston and the ocean has added a distinct and somewhat salty flavor to his writing, like potato chips, that subtly attract more of your attention. He writes in many genres; impossible fiction, mystery, crime/detective, children’s parable, and sci-fi, but has a recognizable voice across all.

To quote a character in one of his stories, who is describing the character’s anonymously written stories: The cool thing is his books walk the fine line between just god-awful lousy, attractively intriguing, and somewhat scholarly.
