Bio: James who is a alumnus of Milton Hershey School (c/o90) wrote his first poem during his freshman year while attending there in 1987. He started writing in earnest in 1996 and is the author of five books of poetry Musing on the Cricket Game of Life Part 1 1/2, An Extravagant Way of Saying Nothing, Letters to Roxanne, Writing With Scissors, and (the most recent) Echoes of Sylvia as well as a promotional chapbook The Complete Poems of James E. Roethlein: The Expurgated Version. His work has appeared in Canada, Australia, and the US, in 2010 he was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. James he currently lives in Middletown, Pa with his feline owner.
