Thread and Paper Journals are a range of Art, Design and Craft sketchbooks and journals.

Trained in Fashion Marketing and Design, I have worked as a trained Marketing specialist and Designer since leaving University of Northumbria in 2000. I have also taught Fashion design,Fashion Marketing and Promotion, Art, Textiles and Graphic design in Secondary, Further and Higher Education for about fifteen years, one of my favourite elements of all that teaching being sketchbook and portfolio development.

I now live in the Highlands of Scotland and find myself inspired by the beauty which is all around is, whether its the serenity on the Loch of an evening or the regal beauty of the stags on the Glen, inspiration is everywhere and I produce a range of inspired pieces reflecting this amazing landscape i live in and my own loves and passions for creativity and originality in everything I do.

I look around daily and find inspiration in everything and am passionate about making memories through whatever media that is close to hand. I love to sew, draw, paint, sculpt, jump in puddles, and generally look to my inner child whenever possible, living my life to the best of my ability on a daily basis along with my three hoys, hubby, two dogs and two cats in amongst my mountains with something creative in our hands.
