Michael Modisett

We met in 2011 over a pasta dinner paired with an overpriced bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Fortunately our wine journey has only improved since then. We got married in 2015 and after 7 years together in New York City moved to Maryland with our two sons in 2018.

Michael is certified by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and represented the United States in the 2014 Left Bank Bordeaux Cup wine tasting competition.

Cindy is a lover of fine wine and spirits with 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Both of us have cultivated our passion and knowledge of the wine world over the years through our travels across the US, South America, Europe and Australia and are excited to share our experience with you through this book.
