Pragya Tomar spent two decades in film, television, and creative techology before turning her inquiry inward. Born and raised in New Delhi, India, and now living in California, she draws on Advaita Vedanta, the Upanishads, and the Bhagavad Gita to make ancient Indian wisdom clear and practical for modern readers. Her spiritual inquiry began as a teenager under the guidance of Guru Nanua, a sage on the banks of the Ganges, whose words she has carried for thirty years. She studied Sanskrit in high school and later spent years exploring the primary texts that form the foundation of this book.
