C.L. Fontaine Lives in Hanover Ma with her husband.
She hopes to continue her mission to bring awareness about PTSD to all who are touched by it through public speaking, online PTSD groups and personal contacts, including churches, veterans groups and crisis centers. She encourages any who wish to know more to contact her through her publisher, Xlibris.
She was a teacher for over 40 years and is also a mother of a son with PTSD. In an attempt to more fully understand, she did extensive reading and asking about PTSD.
In retirement she took on a new role as an administrator for several on line PTSD support groups including Love Our Vets-PTSD Family Support and PRSD Projects Caregiver''s group.
Very early into this new venture, she realized that there was a need for books to help children understand PTSD, especially for non-military families. Using her knowledge of children and also what she learned from PTSD she created Sam's Story. Her book is a tool for parents, and professionals to initiate a dialogue with children about those they love with PTSD and how it affects them.
