Kristen Wixted

Kristen Wixted writes picture books and middle grade novels. She’s the co-writer with her nephew Sam Donovan of MISS RITA, MYSTERY READER. She's also co-editor and general force behind the illustrated poetry anthologies published by The Writers’ Loft, most recently Friends and Anemones: Ocean Poems for Children. She lives in Massachusetts with her family and is an experienced Mystery Reader who adores sparkly jewelry and prefers it when her immediate family members do not drop their phones in Boston Harbor.
