Adelheid Manefeldt

Adelheid Manefeldt was born in Pretoria, South Africa and currently resides in Cape Town, South Africa. She is the daughter of an advocate and school teacher.

She's been a writer for more than a decade, working in various industries on an eclectic scope of writing services, including creative copywriting, financial blogging, children's literature, academic editing, script writing, translation, corporate communication, brand conceptualisation, web and social media content development, technical editing and more.

Although she still works in the creative industry, she has focused her attention on her own creative writing and fine art. She has a particular knack for contemporary fiction and horror writing, although she has published poetry and various non-fiction features as well.

She spends her free time with her family and household of adopted pets. When she's not writing, designing or creating art, she enjoys binge-watching horrors and dramas, reading, listening to her numerous records, plummeting down some or other precarious Google rabbit hole or taking the piss out of her friends.
