First of all, I am a Christian. I love God and I love Jesus. I believe Jesus died for my sins and that God is patiently (ever-so-patiently) molding me into a better person.

With that being said, my faith is a constant rollercoaster ride. I’ve had highs, I’ve had lows, and I’m pretty open about both.

I was born in Oklahoma, but my family moved to Iowa right before I started elementary school. Much of my childhood was spent traveling between the two states and I proudly claim both heritages. Like saying “ya’ll” to a group of people and “ope” when I accidentally bump into someone. I love crawdad fishin’ and sweet corn. I feel at peace in the Arbuckle mountains or in a cornfield. Now I live in Arkansas and find immeasurable joy in the beauty of the nature and the charm of it all.

I have four kids. I love them with my whole heart. I would literally die for any one of them but these same four little people ~ whom l love more than I ever imagined possible ~ drive me to the brink of insanity daily.

My kids are the biggest reason I started writing. The things they have said and done since they were little have made me smile and I wanted to share those memories with my friends and family. The other main factor that spring-boarded my writing endeavors occurred when I was 17. I had been journaling most of my teen years (mostly angry scribbles while blaring Alanis Morissette) but I was in a serious car accident a couple months after my 17th birthday, and I began writing things more frequently due to the memory loss as a result of the accident. My first novel 'Road to Revelation' is based around that event.

I hope you read (and love) my books. I truly enjoy writing them and few things give me as much joy as sharing my characters with others.
