David Marriott

David has over 60 years' experience as a Chef and Lecturer in Food Studies. He has a personal collection of Antiquarian Cookery Books and is an avid collector of historic menus.

He is a retired Master Craftsman and Governor of the Craft Guild of Chefs, he is the holder of many awards, including the Conseil Culinaire Francais Medal of Honour ('their highest award').

He has written for two magazines for three years. At present he is working on a new project called the Culinary Guide to Classical Dishes.
