MUKAMI NGARI

My name is Mukami Anindo. I grew up in the beautiful countryside of Embu, Kenya. When I was a little girl, I loved daydreaming. I enjoyed imagining worlds where people lived completely different lives than I did.

Reading sharpened my imagination further. My favorite subject in primary school was composition. I loved telling stories through writing. Then, as a teenager in high school, I would buy an extra exercise book where I’d write short stories. I’d share the book with a few of my friends.

As an adult, I love that I get the chance to write and share stories. I'm thankful that this is my reality now.
