Whenever Ben is working alone in his studio, he tends to think about the people he's known throughout his life, whether it was a brief encounter with a stranger or a long-term relationship. What has he learned from these people? And while Ben ponders life, love and regrets, he draws goths.

Ben is also a true comedy nerd, creating show posters and T-shirt designs for comedians like Dana Gould, Maria Bamford, Brian Posehn, Henry Phillips, and The Comedy Film Nerds. His original portraits of comedians hang in San Francisco's legendary Cobb's Comedy Club.
