Virendra Kumar

Virendra Kumar (1950) was born and brought up in Delhi. He served in the Government of India in the Ministry of Railways and the Armed Forces Headquarters and retired in 2011. He is a science graduate and holds a postgraduate degree in Hindi.

He has published sixteen books in Hindi, including poetry, travelogues, reportage and works of reflective and critical prose. His recent writings engage with Indian philosophical traditions and contemporary social thought, presenting independent and analytical studies of classical texts.

He resides in Delhi.
