Skyla Duncan

Skyla A. Duncan was born December 6 1989 in the beautiful Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. As a child, Skyla enjoyed reading libraries of enigmatic best seller novels with her Bajan mother who was also a bibliophile, while still being able to appreciate many scholastic books with her more disciplinary Saint Lucian father. She completed her doctorate in Microbiology at the Center of NanoBiotechnology Research Center in the United States but still continues to read and write fictional works of literary poetry and prose. Skyla's first collection 'The Four Seasons Duology Series Poetry Novellas' was recently published with Part 1 (The Four Seasons of Her) being first released. Skyla also has a few upcoming novels in the works as she zones in on themes of self discovery, retrospection, sensuality, love and healing through use of poignant metaphors and spell binding personifications. The upcoming author views her debut into the literary world as only the beginning of many more wonderful things to come.
