AJ Warren

AJ Warren worked as the Head of an early years setting for nearly twenty years before turning her hand to fiction. During those years she worked with many children and families, some of whom lived in incredibly difficult situations. The Lamp-post Shakers is her first novella and is inspired by those individuals with whom she worked with, who faced continual challenges in their lives but strived to live life to the full and aim for that 'Happy Ending.'

She followed the novella with The Ghost Chaser and The Box, which are part of the Lighthouse Series. The fourth book in the series is The Lost Soul. AJ is currently working on book five. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, she currently lives in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, with her husband, and their two Romanian rescue dogs. Nearby are her two grown-up children, their families and grandchildren.

When she's not writing, AJ is busy organising events within her community. Enjoying her grandchildren, she loves listening to their comments and thoughts. 'What have you done to your hair, Granny? It's horrible!' (The two year old). She enjoys swimming, shopping, reading and catching up with friends.
